Erykah Badu had a couple listening parties for her new album due out Feb 23. It is titled New Amerykah pt 2: The Return of the Ankh. This album is a return to her Baduism roots. It is said to be a less political and more emotional album. I think it will be nice to hear some more straight forward soul music from Ms. Badu.
Erykah recently paid tribute to one of her predecessors, Chaka Khan. Here is Erykah opening up the tribute with others such as Angie stone.
